Good Morning NLDF Family!
This morning, we will continue our study through 2 Samuel as we see David flee Jerusalem because of Absalom’s rebellion (2 Samuel 15:13–22). David leaves behind his palace, his comfort, and his security, and we will learn what true loyalty to God’s king looks like through the example of those who chose to stay with him.
David’s story points us to a greater King, Jesus Christ, who was also rejected and calls His followers to remain faithful no matter the cost. As you prepare for worship this morning, come ready to examine your own loyalty to the King and to celebrate His faithfulness to His people.
