In 2 Samuel 10, a gesture of kindness turns into conflict because of suspicion and pride. The same struggles still show up in our hearts today when we are tempted to trust ourselves instead of God.
This passage reminds us that the battle belongs to God. Our hope isn’t in our strength, but in the greater King, Jesus, who has already won the victory for His people.
Come with your hearts ready to worship and trust Him in a new way.
