Good Morning NLDF Family!

Today, we continue our journey through the life of David as we come to 2 Samuel 20 (ASLV). David is back on the throne, but the problems in his kingdom are not over. Once again, we see David’s weaknesses and the brokenness of the people around him.

David may be God’s chosen king, but he is not the King God’s people ultimately need.

We need a better King. And as we follow David’s story we are reminded that Jesus is the perfect and faithful King who rules with righteousness and will never fail His people.

Prepare your hearts as we worship our King together this morning!

Prayer Focus - Deaf of Myanmar

This week, we are praying for the Deaf community in Myanmar. Years of civil war and instability have made life difficult for people across the country, and Deaf people often face additional isolation, limited opportunities, and little access to the gospel in their heart language.

Please pray for:

  • Peace and protection – for Deaf people and their families living in areas affected by conflict.

  • Gospel access – for more opportunities to clearly share the good news of Jesus with Deaf communities.

  • Deaf believers and leaders – for Christians to grow in their faith and boldly share Christ with others.

  • Hope – that many Deaf people in Myanmar would find lasting peace and hope through faith in Jesus.

Pray that God would open doors for the gospel and raise up strong Deaf churches throughout Myanmar.
